Phew!!!

Well yesterday was a busy day, spent a lot of it clearing up!
Took all the xmas cards down (and checked which I could use for DC recycle an xmas card challenge!), both trees, lights and other extra decs & packed them all away.

Argos were supposed to deliver my new storage bits but they didnt arrive till 7pm! Got all 4 pieces built today and already my crafty space is looking better, had forgotten what colour the carpet was!
I'm one of these people who has to be organised, I craft much better when everything is tidied up and has a place to live, make my creativity much clearer!

Holiday!!!!

This week I am off work as working in retail you just dont get any time off over xmas so I always book myself a week in Jan to rest up and play with my new xmas goodies!

Oh and what goodies they were;
my cricut personal, paper lace & wild card cartridges, 1st MS punch monarch butterfly corner, docrafts border and larger flower punches, tons of card and an embossing folder.... phew!
Thats a lot for me, in the next few weeks i'm hoping to upload cards made using them all! :)

Here is my first card of 2011, one of my resolutions was to take part in more DoCrafts challenges so this actually fits the criteria for 2!

The ABC colour challenge was to use grey, a real challenge for me as I didnt think I had any grey papers - I didn't so I made some using MCS!!
I also used my new border punch from DC to make the lace border with my new capsule collection card, and the, G for gold, embellishments using the new large flower punch layered with my small one. Yay used some of my new stash already!

Yay! I have a blog! =D

Hi there! (if anyone reads this apart from me that is lol!)

This is obviously my first post, its also my first blog so i'm not very good at working out what to do yet!

One of my new years resolutions was to use up some of my existing stash, to do that I need to make things with it, and I thought part of driving me to do that would be to start my own little blog where I can record my progress.
I also want to enter more challenges and so this will be a place for me to note down what went into making a card, which will be good for future reference when my mind has gone blank haha!
